The Agency – a company started by ex-McGrath star agents – will become a cash-flow positive business and won’t need to turn to the market for funding once its beds down several acquisitions, according to the group’s managing director Paul Niardone.

Shares in the $11 million listed minnow were placed in a trading halt on Monday ahead of an announcement regarding an option to acquire Top Level Real Estate.

The Agency was started by former McGrath agents Matt Lahood, Steven Chen, Ben Collier and others. “Matt and I are 100 per cent committed to bringing the two companies together,” Mr Niardone said.
